In early January 2008, LYC received orders of slewing rings from Siemens-VAI, who is the worldwide leader in engineering design and equipment manufacture in iron and steel industry. Siemens-VAI's smelting technology is used by 70% of steelworks worldwide and their market share is as high as 25% in the international metallurgy engineering technology market.
